Stories about the places you pass.

Ommy is an audio guide for the road. Start a trip, put your phone away, and Ommy tells you short spoken stories about what you pass: a village, a windmill, a church, an old factory, a landscape with a history.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start a trip

By car, by bike or on foot. Choose what interests you and how often Ommy may speak up.

  2. 2

    Ommy listens along

When you pass a place with a story, Ommy picks the best one. No screen needed; works with Android Auto too.

  3. 3

    You hear the story

About a minute, in a natural voice, in dozens of languages. Want to know more? Tap Tell me more.

Honest about sources

Stories are written by AI from open sources such as Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap. Ommy is built not to invent dates or names, but AI can still get things wrong.

Your privacy

Ommy uses your location during a trip to find places nearby. What we keep, for how long and who we share it with is in the privacy policy.

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or via this page.
